Monday 18 April 2016 the Creative Museum will come to MuseumNext with a high-paced, interactive and fun event about creativity and maker culture in museums in the Chester Beatty Library. Two hours, seven speakers, two workshops, lots of audience engagement. Have a look at one of the videos below from an earlier event to get a sense of the mood.
For this event, we’re looking for museum professionals who moonlight as creative makers. Do you run a shop on Etsy, tinker in your local makerspace, sell your 3D design or write children’s books and are you attending MuseumNext? Join the Museum Makers Market!
Sign up for the Museum Makers Market
If you self-identify as a maker, bring a sample of your creativity to the Creative Museum at MuseumNext event on Monday 18 April 2016, at 16:00 in the Chester Beatty Library. We’ll make sure your creativity goes centre stage, and we give all makers a chance to pitch their product during our event. Selling from the stage is fine!
Signing up is super easy: Fill in this form and or show up in time for the Creative Museum at MuseumNext event, bring your product, find Jasper and make sure you sit front row. We’ll make sure your product is seen by all attendees and your name is on the list to pitch.
Please note that you’ll need a MuseumNext ticket in order to attend the Creative Museum event and Museum Makers Market.
